Great Leadership Starts Within

Who We Are

At LeadingTheChange.me, LLC, we believe lasting change begins within. Leadership is not a position. It is the daily choice to influence others with integrity, humility, courage, and compassion. We believe great leadership starts with individuals, grows through meaningful relationships, and creates a legacy that extends far beyond the workplace.

When individuals discover their purpose, develop character, and lead with wisdom and compassion, they strengthen their workplaces, their families, their communities, and future generations.

We envision a world where emotionally healthy, purpose-driven leaders build thriving organizations, resilient families, and stronger communities.

Executive Strategist,
Workforce and TVET

Rusty Bechtold

For three decades, Mr. Bechtold bridged the gap between correctional settings and the workforce. He focused on moving beyond basic instruction to implement high-impact Technical, Vocational, and Trade Training (TVET) programs. He facilitated individuals to replace a "release date" with a "start date" in a meaningful career.

Rusty ensures individuals have the tangible skills and certifications required to thrive in modern industry, by building industry-aligned curriculum in agriculture, trades and services. He turns vocational training into a recidivism-reduction power house while building the bridge from education to industry-ready talent.

Our Mission

Our Approach

Impactful

We believe great leadership starts within.

Our consulting approach centers on building self-aware, emotionally intelligent individuals, internally empowered to lead with purpose, clarity, empathy, and impact.

Participative

We combine behavioral science with participatory learning to develop leaders who are personally committed to creating positive impacts in their organizations and communities.

Committed individuals generate a positive ripple effect that extends far beyond their title; making way for strong leadership pipelines rooted in accountability and aligned action.
